Spring Into Warmer Weather with These Trends

Posted on

We know winter isn't quite over, but we can't help but look toward warmer weather. Each day the sun sets a little later and it gives us hope of going for a warm walk outside, vacations and the smell of fresh flowers. While we're busy day dreaming of spring, we can't help but wonder what kind of shoes will be in this coming season. That's why we've decided to break down the best trends for spring/summer 2019.

Animal Print

Animal print is no longer solely for fall/winter. Over the past few months now, we've been seeing it on runways in varying prints like snakeskin, cow, tiger and leopard on boots, sneakers and even sandals and heels. Your little animal lover will be so excited to wear these year round.

We've seen a rise in the use of buckles on clothes and shoes in recent years. Now they're being shown on sandals. You may think this is quite typical if you and your kids are used to wearing Birkenstocks, but now many sandals are more blinged out with various shaped buckles and colors.

Spring is known for bringing along a brighter color palette, but this year it's all about the brightest of the bright. Neon on shoes this spring is going to be huge which is great news for your little color lover. And if they're not into all things bright, it's still a great way to add color to any darker outfit.

Thin Straps

Multiple thin straps on heels and sandals were shown quite a lot on runways in the past few months. We've also noticed they've been combined with the neon trend as well! Thin straps are great for dainty little flats, perfect for all spring occasions.

High Fashion Sneakers

We're finally seeing a shift from chunky dad sneaker to a more thinned out, sleek, platform looking shoe. For women and girls it's all about a clear bottom detail, or a slight wedge and an overall thinner construction for a more feminine look. However they may look, we're psyched we can still look cute and comfy in our sneakers year round.
